But there is nothing as rewarding as taking a class in person, from an experienced instructor you interact with, and fellow innovators you collaborate with.

Research shows that the average job posting on job boards, corporate websites and social media sites has 20 requirements that job seekers have to match before they apply. For example, if a requirement is one word (i.e. marketing) then job seekers still have to guess 20 words and enter them into the keyword field to find job postings where they match the requirements. Only those job postings with the right level of matching will lead to actual interviews.
Mounting frustration among job seekers experiencing a lack of response to applications has led SkillPROOF to develop an online job search solution that addresses the keyword matching problem. This solution allows job seekers to easily find job postings where they match the job requirements and helps them optimize a resume in a way that leads to more interviews.
Job seekers are invited to join the focus group to learn and try this new solution.
Instructor: Mr. Henning Seip is President and Co-founder of SkillPROOF Inc. Mr. Seip developed SkillPROOF Inc. responding to a need for better tools and information about local, national and global job markets and skills needed by employers. He is a hands-on expert in natural language processing (NLP), unstructured information analysis and big data acquisition. He is the principal developer of KRAZOOM (www.krazoom.com), an advanced job matching system with over 200,000 daily job postings.

Innovation Ed @ Stamford Innovation Center
No matter what your background, or where you are in your career, INNOVATION ED will spark innovative thinking, introduce you to a vibrant community of innovative professionals, and give you skills you can use the next day.
We know there are a ton of great resources and content online. It’s easy to watch a TED Talk by an inspiring entrepreneur, or sign up for an EdEx class (we love them both). But there is nothing as rewarding as taking a class in person, from an experienced instructor you interact with, and fellow innovators you collaborate with.

- Understanding Customer Needs
- Validating early, validating often
- Thinking beyond the browser
Most recently, Matt held multiple executive roles at Aptela - a leading Voice Over IP / Cloud PBX provider. He helped steer the company through rapid hockey stick growth, the 2008 crash, a difficult recovery, profitability and eventual acquisition. Matt led development of Aptela's products, internal systems and Salesforce.com platform, resulting in a customer-centric understanding of all aspects of the Product Development Lifecycle.
Matt has been an internet pioneer several times over, starting with the web's first e-commerce sites for FTD Florists, Omaha Steaks and others. Matt launched the internet's first airline ticketing portal for American Express, and later built Starter Corp's first official Super Bowl store. He was recruited by AOL to lead the development of their standalone web browser, and he designed the system that publishes NASDAQ Investor Relations web sites and web casts.
